Proposed Closure of Holy Family RC Primary School
Last week, parents were advised that Royal Borough of Greenwich, in agreement with the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark and the school’s governing body, would be launching a consultation today on a proposal to close the school at the end of this academic year.
The consultation is now live on Royal Greenwich’s website via the following link:
You will find further details on the proposal, including answers to some frequently asked questions which we hope you will find helpful. We aim to develop these should other questions arise through the consultation process.
If you would like to comment on the proposal, please use the feedback form on Royal Greenwich’s website.
Royal Greenwich and the Archdiocese will be holding face-to-face consultation meetings with staff and parents at the school, and a public virtual meeting. You will find further details via the above link.
We are a school which strives for excellence and believes in delivering the very best education to every single one of our children. Our team of experienced staff are committed to giving children the very best start in life in a stimulating and creative learning environment.
The Leadership Team at Holy Family has overhauled the way in which we deliver the National Curriculum and embedded a cross curricular approach to learning from Nursery through to Year 6. Our approach to education ensures that children learn in a seamless and progressive way throughout their education.
As a Catholic school, we believe in putting children at the center of everything we do. We know that every child is unique and we are proud of the children and families who make up the diverse and thriving school community here in the heart of Kidbrooke Village.
We recognise that all children are created in God's image and it is our mission to enable them to achieve their full potential and to become leaders of the future. Our approach to children’s holistic development is underpinned by our Gospel Values - Love, Respect, Service, Faith and Hope.
We want our children to be confident, independent learners who know how to make informed decisions about the choices they make in life.
We are a small school with big ambitions and although there is plenty more we could tell you, pupil voice is hugely important to us so why not take a look at what our children have to say about Holy Family.
We invite you to get in touch and find out more about the small school with big ambitions
